Biopet — Mobile App
Mobile App Design
Challenge & Solution
Biopet is an online store - selling everything from everyday pet food to accessories. As the brand grew, most customers started showing up on their phones. My challenge was to move Biopet past a desktop-first experience and build a mobile app that actually matched how people shop now.
The old experience was built for desktop, and it showed. Browsing, comparing, checking out - all of it felt slow and clunky on a small screen. That friction was costing Biopet usability, and honestly, sales. What they needed was mobile shopping that felt natural and fast, from the first tap to the last.
I designed the app mobile-first, from the ground up. Simple navigation, clear hierarchy, touch-friendly interactions throughout. Browsing got faster, the cart got easier to manage, checkout got shorter.

I focused on the moments that mattered most: finding the right category, checking product details, completing the purchase. Search and filters were rebuilt for mobile. Product pages were streamlined so photos, price, and key info show up immediately. Cart and checkout got trimmed down to a few taps.

Buying was only half of it. I also designed how Biopet organizes itself - clear categories for food, litter, treats, accessories, care, and pharmacy, plus support for multiple pets under one account. A bonus card and order tracking keep people coming back after checkout, not just through it.

The result: a mobile app that's faster, smoother, and genuinely easier to use. Biopet customers can browse and buy straight from their phones with no friction and no wasted steps - an app that feels modern and built for how people actually shop, reinforcing Biopet as a brand pet owners can rely on.
